'On My Mac' calendars missing in iCal

'On My Mac' calendars missing in iCal

Mac iCal will not display any events (visible on iCloud.com) from my custom calendars. Only the calendars Home and Work are listed on the top left, whereas the rest are not listed and the events not shown. How do I get my custom calendars to display again...??

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I understand that you're not seeing some of your custom calendars in the Calendar application on your iMac. Please run through the steps in the link below to get started with troubleshooting this issue:

In System Prefs/iCloud, I disabled Calendars and then enabled it. Eventually the calendar refreshed. Same issue with Reminders, and same solution. No issue with other iCloud, e.g. Contacts.
